The Jays have inked Adam Lind to a 4-year deal worth $18 million! Coming off a break-out year, Lind had a big payday coming to him.
In other news, the Jays play their final spring training game against the Astros at Minute Maid Park. Brandon Morrow will start, trying to make a case for his inclusion in the opening day rotation. He's battled some arm fatigue during the latter part of the spring so the Jays will be evaluating his progress. If he's good to go, he will slot in behind Ricky Romero into the number 4 spot.
I'm still waiting for Cito to jump out and yell, "APRIL FOOLS! DID YOU REALLY THINK BRIAN TALLET WOULD BE OUR NUMBER 2??". Of course, April Fools has already passed, which would make him the fool. That's never been more true.
